Emakina Wins 17 Communicator Awards

Emakina once more scores really well at the 2017 Communicator Awards, winning no less than 17 prizes.

We received two Excellence Awards for Parrot, and fifteen Awards of Distinction, for Philip Morris International’s corporate website, and commerce platforms for Floris van Bommel, McGregor, Segway Europe and Wolford. Founded two decades ago, the Communicator Awards receive over 6,000 entries from across the globe, judged by the AIVA Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts.

Parrot: interactive, inspiring and addictive

Emakina’s e-commerce ecosystem for Parrot received highest marks, with two Excellence Awards. The online store covers 29 countries and 5 languages and was honoured for its rich user experience and visual appeal. It perfectly reflects the premium brand’s baseline ‘Life. Elevated’. Designing a Smoke-free Future

The new corporate website is a valuable instrument to communicate Philip Morris International’s (PMI) bold ambition: designing a smoke-free future.

It combines fresh design and rich content, using the power of Sitefinity as a content management system. PMI and Emakina receive three Distinction Awards, for the fluent user interface, excellence in copy writing, and the high-quality videos on the website.

Van Bommel, McGregor, Segway and Wolford: First class E-commerce
The Communicator Awards recognize Emakina’s leadership in commerce, with four more honoured client projects in this field besides Parrot.

First off, the Segway ‘simply moving’ website, made with Kentico, wins four Communicators, for branding, visual appeal, user experience and exceptional automotive experience.

And Emakina’s also ‘on a roll’ – pun intended, with three Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects.

The elegant platform for McGregor received high marks in ‘fashion’ and for its ‘user experience’.

Top shoemaker Floris Van Bommel won in the same categories,with their rich and well designed website, a showcase of class and top branding.

They are joined by their colleagues from Wolford, experts in women’s fashion underwear, legwear and clothing.

To top it off, both van Bommel and Wolford also add a Distinction trophy for the website’s visual design, giving their high-end online boutique extra charm and class.
